Artist Bio
Maurice was born and raised in Cherbourg and moved around with his parents due to work requirements.
Maurice worked in the old Barambah pottery and also in the old boomerang factory producing various artefacts and has developed his own style that is widely recognised and sought after.
His images and artwork are a reflection of his experiences growing up learning his culture and has found that expressing this through his art keeps him grounded and the ability to pass on his legacy.
