Venus was born and raised in Cherbourg where she also raised her children. With her love for her community, she has been involved in a variety of interests which include creating art works and pottery.

JOYLENE SECKOLD: Budjitti is my tribe from Southwest Queensland Cunnumulla/Eudlo. Most of my paintings represent the land and environment.

Art that I do represents the Simpson Desert and my Elders artwork. My other Artwork talks about everyday living in what beauty in each day. I am a resident of Cherbourg and have lived here for over 30 years.

John was born and raised in Cherbourg. Johns love for his community feeds his ongoing support and involvement in Barambah Pottery Shed. Johns' pottery pieces are decorated in reflection of his experiences and culture growing up.

About the Artist: Natasha was born in Cherbourg she then moved to Inala and completed her schooling and worked. 

When given the opportunity to work at the Ration Shed Museum she took and moved back to country. Natasha has Many talents which she loves doing such as crafts Jewlery making painting and pottery.

She loves sharing her talents and knowledge with the community ha=and has a large involvement with school children teaching art and traditional dancing.

Maurice was born and raised in Cherbourg. Maurice worked in the old Barambah pottery and also in the old Boomerang factory producing various artefacts and he developed his own style that is now widely recognised and sought after.

His images and artwork are a reflection of his own experiences growing up learning his culture he has pride in his ability to pass on his legacy.

Andrew is a Local Wakka Wakka Artist born and raised in Cherbourg. Andrew’s art descriptions Bralbin Minya Bralbin is a local hunting spot that traditional owners Wakka Wakka Persons used to hunt traditional foods.

These traditions have been handed down to me through generations. I am happy to share these stories with future generations.

A Bunjalung man from the east coast of NSW who grew up in Tabulam (Jabullum Village). Colin's totem is a Possum (Guyahny) and he is a student of his father in law - senior elder of the Kamilaroi tribe and expert tool maker Uncle CharlieBinge.

Colin specialises in making artefacts with a focus on engraving. carving and wood burning.

Lexie was born and raised in Cherbourg. Lexie enjoys her pottery and loves to decorate her creations. She enjoys coming to the Pottery Shed with her carer as it empowers her to feel she is a valued member of the community by engaging in an activity where she can showcase her unbridled talent.
