Amika Collard
Artist Bio
Amika was born in Subiaco, Perth WA. She is a Noongar and Yamatji (both tribes are from the eastern part of Western Australia) girl. Amika has connections with Cherbourg through her mother who is from Murgon.
Amika loves painting with acrylic on canvas, photography and pottery. Amika is also in a local band where she plays guitar and drums. Amika’s art tells stories of her family, hunting travels, and nature by using traditional symbols.
