Budburra Books
Cherbourg State School :: Inside our classroom we have a home corner and a book corner as well as computers, puzzles, crafts, paints, pencils, play dough, blocks, and construction. Some of our favourite things to do are constructing things from the Mobilo and having a picnic!
Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples :: Kids at Cherbourg, an Indigenous community of approximately 2000 people in south-east Queensland, love creating stories. And with the help of locally-based Budburra Books Inc, primary school students at the state school have become published authors and illustrators through the Books, Books, Books project.
